Choose the opening and swing

  • 8240: 82 in. H x 40 in. W rough opening.
  • 8248: 82 in. H x 48 in. W rough opening.
  • 9640: 96 in. H x 40 in. W rough opening.
  • 9648: 96 in. H x 48 in. W rough opening.

In-swing uses internal hinges and remains operable if the outside is blocked, making it useful for storm shelters and panic rooms. Out-swing uses external hinges and opens 180 degrees, preserving room inside the vault.

Construction and choices

  • 3/16 in. face frame, 5/8 in. door edge, and 3/16 in. overall body steel.
  • Mechanical lock is included; electronic and redundant locks are factory-priced upgrades.
  • Textured, high-gloss, and distressed finish totals vary by door size and swing direction.
  • AR500 and stainless steel liners are available by custom quote.
